Our Business

Our business was started by Mr. Ralph Seymour who started out with a small wood cutting operation.  Ralph grew from timber cutting, to whole tree chipping, into trucking and later into one small sawmill.  With the help of his son and business partner, Tracy Seymour, they grew the company into T&R logging with 3 crews, A&K trucking and Southern Ohio Wood and Milling operating 2 sawmills, post peeling, and a planer operation.  It is truly a family owned operation with many of Ralph's brothers working in the timber side of the company.

Who We Are

Southern Ohio Wood and Milling is owned by Tracy Seymour and managed by Scot Kilgour.  We have 9 full time employees and more added as market conditions allow.

T&R Logging is owned and managed by Tracy Seymour who oversees 3 crews consisting of 2 operators per crew, mechanics and support staff.  We are one of the largest soft wood harvesters in Ohio and use only the safest and most professionally trained and licensed timber workers available.

A & K Trucking is owned and managed by Tracy Seymour and is responsible for getting the timber from the woods to the mill and then on to the customer.  Our drivers, like our timber cutters are professional, trained operators with safety in mind.
